Trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn. NIADA

Bill and I had a great time at Gatlinburg. Bill was able to travel around and also do a little fishing. He had an adventure with a bear which was a little scary. There were several sightings of bears there. Some at NIADA campus. It was held at Arrowmont Art & Design and was a great place. A little problem for me walking on the hills. Tues and Wed. 9/2009, I took a two day workshop with Leslie Molen. She is a fun teacher and I learned a lot about putting in the eyes, free standing doll, sculping the face.....Here is Pearl Blossom, Li Hua.

Candlestick Doll

Jayne taught this candlestick doll for playday at Jean's house Sat. It was a fun day. The skirt is a metal candlestick turned upside down that Brenda gave me. Pretty cool.
